Blog Prompt #10

“All photographs are there to remind us of what we forget. In this - as in other ways - they are the opposite of paintings. Paintings record what the painter remembers. Because each one of us forgets different things, a photo more than a painting may change its meaning according to who is looking at it.” ~John Berger

It is true that painting record only what the painter remembers. Through painting there is lack of explanation. However, photography tells more history of not only ourselves but also the world in details. Each people have different memories so it is hard to interpreted with only one painting. However, because of real situation, in photographs, we can catch more clear information and memories from photograph.
