  1. I love the color tones in this image. The bright blue against the warm orange works well together. The blue lines also has good movement in the photo, nice work!

  2. This is a really cool photograph! The composition is truly amazing. I wish it was a little bit brighter just to bring out some of the blues, but other than that, this is really well done!

  3. The idea is really cool and I find it amazing how yo created this picture. The only suggestion I would make is to play with lightning to make the picture look even better, but other than that, I think you made a great picture! ;)

  4. Love the abstraction of the mirror, and also how you somehow managed to keep the tones of the original in your recreation. Amazing! Both also have a quality of iridescence, which is really cool.

  5. Cool picture!! I like the perspective... it is almost distorted in a way and its a little tough to identify what it is... Very nice! Lighting at the top is important and helps to frame up the photo.

  6. i really thought that I was looking at a staircase flipped upside down. great angel for the mirrors. the use of mirrors in photos is always a fantastic illusion.

  7. great use of mirrors! at first i was wondering where you found such amazing architecture. fantastic concept for constructed reality because it's a photo of space that doesn't exist.

  8. You created an amazing illusion within the camera lens. I love how the mirror appears abstract and 3-dimensional. The colors coordinate perfectly with Kasten's series.

  9. You are definitely keeping the shape theme going. I also like the color tones.Good perspective as well. I do wish it wasn't as blurry though.

  10. Your image is very interesting! I think you did a good job staying original to Barbara Kasten. It's hard to figure out exactly what it is, which is the same way I feel about her images. I love the blue light at the top and the darkness at the bottom. I wouldn't change anything! Great job!

  11. creative way to approach the recreation of lights and angles and mirrors. colors work well and seem to fit within the color palette that you use in many of your images. very creative approach. the only thing to watch out for would be "muddy" colors that start to go from a hue to a more diluted color with a tinge of brown/gray. this usually happens in dark settings or strange light colors.

  12. I really enjoy the color in this image. This recreation really resembles the geometric shapes in the original. I think it would have been interesting to possibly play around with the bottom right dark corner more, maybe over expose it a bit. Overall great job with the recreation.

  13. I have no idea how you did this or even what I'm looking at, but I love it. YOu definitely captured the surrealism of the original.

  14. The light colors you were able to capture from the light are amazing at the top of the photo. The gradual darkening of the photo from top left to bottom right enhance the colors as well as making the succession of mirrors seen stand out even more.
